Speaking & Media
I speak from a life that has required me to begin again more than once. My purpose is not to stand in front of an audience and tell them what I survived. It is to help people recognize what may still be possible in their own lives—and to give them something worth carrying home.
Your Audience • Your Purpose • Your Mission
What Happens After the Event Matters
When you choose a speaker, you are choosing more than what happens during one hour on a program. You are creating an opportunity for conversations that may continue on the drive home, around the dinner table, at work, in a support group, or within your church.
Perhaps someone decides to return, volunteer, join your program, invite a friend, ask for help, or become more involved in the mission that brought everyone together.
If my time with your audience strengthens the work you are already doing, I will consider it a privilege to have been part of your event.
“My hope is that every person leaves with a new perspective on their own story. When they look back, they can see how they were stronger than they realized. They'll begin to see blessings they overlooked, victories they never celebrated, and a courage that will stay with them they didn't realize they possessed. While we cannot change the events of our past, we can discover new meaning within them. My prayer is that each person leaves with renewed gratitude for how far they've come, peace for today, and faith to trust God with the road still ahead.”

What I Hope Your Audience Takes Home
Inspiration can disappear by Monday morning. I want people to leave with thoughts, questions, and practices they can return to when fear, change, disappointment, or another crossroads finds them.
A New Perspective
Sometimes God does not change our circumstances first. He changes the way we see them—and that can change what we believe is still possible.
Spiritual Speed Bumps™
Small, intentional pauses that slow our thoughts long enough to notice whether fear is helping us, hurting us, or predicting an ending that has not happened.
Courage for the Next Decision
We often reach crossroads without guarantees. Courage is not knowing the entire road. It is refusing to let fear make every decision for us.
The Lookout Point™
A practice of climbing high enough to look back, recognize what was accomplished, celebrate unexpected progress, and see where God was present along the way.
“Some of life's greatest blessings are only visible from the mountain you almost gave up climbing.”

One Message • Different Audiences
Speaking for the People You Serve
Every audience is different. I shape the conversation around the purpose of your event while remaining honest about the experiences and lessons I am qualified to share.
Churches & Women's Ministries
Faith, shame, forgiveness, God's timing, difficult decisions, and recognizing His presence when life does not make sense.
Women's Conferences & Retreats
Identity, fear, self-worth, starting over, safe relationships, and learning not to let what happened become who we believe we are.
Hospitals & Healthcare Events
The emotional side of serious illness, patient and caregiver fear, living with uncertainty, finding support, and holding on to hope.
Corporate & Professional Events
Rebuilding after setbacks, working through uncertainty, restoring confidence, adapting to change, and continuing when the outcome is not guaranteed.
Nonprofits & Community Organizations
Helping one person, building meaningful support, breaking silence, recognizing hidden struggles, and strengthening the mission that brings people together.
Podcasts, Radio & Media
Honest conversations about faith, cancer survivorship, domestic violence, trauma, courage, forgiveness, perspective, and beginning again.
Featured Interviews & Messages
Watch & Listen
These four conversations share different parts of my life and work. They also give event organizers an opportunity to hear how I speak, tell a story, answer difficult questions, and connect personal experience with a message that serves the listener.

The Race for My Life
I joined WMAP Radio host KC Armstrong, former executive producer of The Howard Stern Show, for a conversation about the race for my life after UCLA told me I had only months to live. We discuss raising the funds to reach treatment, the balancing act happening behind the scenes, and why I needed God through every decision. Listener response led WMAP Radio to continue the conversation as a two-part feature.

Awareness & Advocacy
Double Trouble
While fighting stage 4 breast cancer after being told I had only months to live, I was also living with domestic violence from the person who was supposed to be my caregiver. I share this message because hiding is what abuse expects. Families and friends need to recognize the signs, listen when someone asks for help, and understand that serious illness does not protect a person from abuse.
