Messages Rooted in a Life I Have Lived
I do not speak from theory. Each message comes from an experience I have personally walked through and the lessons, faith, and perspective I carried forward.
Cancer Survivorship
Hope Beyond a Stage 4 Diagnosis
In 2010, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and told I could have only months to live. I understand the fear that follows devastating news, the decisions families face, and the questions that arrive when the future suddenly feels uncertain.
I speak about hope without making promises about outcomes. My message is about faith, courage, personal responsibility, support, and choosing to keep living while walking through the unknown.

Starting Over
When Life Requires You to Begin Again
I know what it means to leave a life behind, begin again with a new identity, rebuild after abuse, and face seasons when everything familiar has changed.
This message helps women understand that starting over is not proof that they failed. It may be the courageous decision that allows them to build a safer, wiser, and more honest life.

Trauma and Recovery
Healing After Trauma
Trauma can change the way we see ourselves, relationships, safety, and even God. I speak as a woman who has lived through violence, fear, loss of identity, illness, and the long process of becoming whole again.
Healing does not require us to pretend the past was acceptable. It allows us to stop giving what happened the authority to determine every decision about our future.

Domestic Violence Awareness
The Struggle No One Could See
While fighting stage 4 breast cancer, I was also living with domestic violence from the person expected to be my caregiver. I understand how abuse hides behind appearances, illness, family roles, fear, shame, and silence.
I speak so survivors feel less alone and so families, professionals, churches, and communities better recognize what may be happening behind a closed door.

Faith
Faith When Life Does Not Make Sense
Faith can feel hardest when prayers remain unanswered, the road changes without warning, and God seems silent. I have walked through seasons when trusting Him required more than comforting words.
This message is about recognizing God's presence without denying pain, finding courage for the next decision, and learning to trust Him without needing to understand the entire road ahead.

Forgiveness
Forgiveness Without Erasing the Truth
Forgiveness is not permission, reconciliation without safety, or pretending the wound no longer matters. I speak about forgiveness as a deeply personal and spiritual decision that releases our future from remaining tied to another person's choices.
This message honors the truth of what happened while helping women understand boundaries, grace, freedom, and the difference between forgiveness and returning to harm.

Identity and Self-Worth
What Happened Is Not Who You Are
Women often carry names they never chose: damaged, difficult, unwanted, weak, divorced, abused, sick, or no longer enough. I know how deeply an experience can begin to feel like an identity.
I help women separate who they are from what they endured and begin recognizing the courage, wisdom, dignity, and God-given worth that remained with them all along.

Perspective and Purpose
Journey of the Heart
We often look back and remember only the tears, mistakes, losses, and doors that closed. Through my Journey of the Heart work, I help women look again and notice the victories, protection, strength, relationships, and moments of grace they may have overlooked.
We cannot rewrite the past, but we can change the meaning we carry from it—and recognize God's treasures where we once remembered only pain.
